Save The Bees Screen Print - Large

Save the Bees Screen Print in iconic yellow and black. This large Campaign Poster and art print was created by graphic artist Anthony Burrill for Barnes & Webb. The urban beekeepers collaborated with the artist to create this limited edition screen print backing the Save the Bees campaign. The print features the well known latin saying Apes curamus et nos curant – we look after honey bees and they look after us; the tiny insects are integral to the environment but also economies. In the past 60 years, the number of honeybee colonies has fallen drastically from six million to two-and-a-half million present.

Graphic artist, print-maker and designer Anthony Burrill is known for his persuasive, up-beat style of communication. His work is held in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, New York and has been exhibited in galleries around the world including The Barbican, The Walker Art Centre and The Graphic Design Museum.
